Elemental Strings nurtures elementary school-aged string players in a large ensemble experience and inspires them to develop and strengthen their musical and personal skills.

Elemental Strings (ES), established in 2004, is a tuition-based youth orchestra serving the greater Santa Monica, CA community.  Priority placement is for 4th and 5th grade string players in the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD).  ES strives to provide an extracurricular opportunity to qualified and interested students, regardless of financial means.

Elemental Strings is generously hosted by the Maestro Foundation, a non-profit 501c3, in Santa Monica, CA.

Tuition cost for weekly rehearsals (October through June) and 3 concerts is $600 per student.    Payment Plan options are available.  Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
